E1305 TRCT500 Infrared Reflective Sensor Module
The TRCT500 infrared reflective sensor module is designed for short-range object and surface detection in electronics and robotics projects. It uses an infrared emitter and phototransistor pair to detect reflected IR light, making it ideal for line following, proximity sensing, and reflective surface detection.
The sensor operates over a close detection range of approximately 1 mm to 25 mm, depending on the surface reflectivity. It runs from 3.3 V to 5 V supplies with a low current draw of around 15 mA, making it suitable for microcontroller platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi Pico, and classroom development boards.
The compact PCB includes mounting (fixing) holes for secure installation in projects and enclosures. With a board size of 32 mm × 14 mm, it is easy to integrate into educational kits, prototypes, and STEM learning activities.
