K1184 Experimenter Module
The K1184 Experimenter Module is a practical, all-in-one learning platform designed to introduce students to electronics, programming, robotics, and engineered systems. Built around the versatile PICAXE 20M2 microcontroller, the K1184 combines commonly used input and output devices onto a single PCB, making classroom activities easier to manage while allowing students to focus on developing programming and problem-solving skills.
Unlike traditional breadboard-based activities, the K1184 keeps essential learning components permanently mounted and ready for use. Students can quickly progress from simple LED programs to advanced projects involving sensors, infrared communication, motor control, and automated systems without repeatedly assembling support circuits.
Ideal for Years 7-10 Technologies, STEM, Engineering and Robotics programs, the K1184 provides a structured pathway from introductory coding activities through to open-ended design challenges and engineering projects.
