K1033 Metal Detector Kit – Oscillator & Signal Detection Project (Assembly Required)
The K1033 Metal Detector Kit introduces students to energy conversion and signal processing through a practical, real-world project. Using a Beat Frequency Oscillator (BFO) circuit built around a CMOS quad gate IC and transistor amplification, the kit converts electrical signals into audible tones that change in the presence of metal.
Key Features
• Beat Frequency Oscillator (BFO) metal detection circuit
• Uses CMOS quad gate IC for oscillator design
• Transistor amplifier for clear audio output
• Detects small metal objects up to ~10mm deep (more for larger items)
• Hands-on soldering and electronics project
What’s Included
• 1 × K1033 PCB
• CMOS quad gate IC
• Transistor
• Electronic components (resistors, capacitors, coil, etc.)
• Audio output component (speaker or buzzer depending on version)
Note: Assembly required. Power source may vary by kit version.
